      Had to buy one of these because I had a Dell Optiplex and the way the back was shaped. an HDMI could not plug into the graphics card slot. Bought this adapter and so far there has been no issues in connection and picture quality.

      I did not know that such an adapter existed. but this is exactly what I needed to connect both a monitor and pen display tablet to my desktop computer. At first. I purchased some other product. an HDMI splitter that mirrored the same image onto both screens. But THIS was the perfect solution because it allows me to use the pen display tablet as a second. extended monitor! Because I do not have more than 1 HDMI ports on my computer. this allowed me to use a DVI port to accept an HDMI cable. Absolutely brilliant and affordable!

      Needed to convert DVI on an old desktop to connect my HDMI monitor. No issues with image clarity or ghosting. Quality of the parts is decent. Do note that even though you are converting to HDMI there will be no audio feed from the DVI (need separate audio connection in the form of speakers).
