Don’t forget. this is is to be able to view a signal through from older equipment with Scart outputs. on a new device with only HDMI inputs. Of course the picture quality will be less than the usual HDMI 1080p or higher quality you are used to seeing. This device us about being able to still watch your old recordings via a Scart cable and it does it very well. The sound and picture quality are everything you would normally get from equipment with only Scart sockets.

Had a dell monitor that has a VGA and DVI Ports but no HDMI. Plugged in one of these and it now has a HDMI Port. Picture quality great and not changed or degraded from when DVI a DVI output and connection was used. It is not better either. just what it should be!
