Works fine now that I downloaded the driver from DELL. I only knew to do that because another reviewer mentioned that they fixed their problem with a Realtek driver. Getting full Gigabit connectivity.

Today plug it into an old laptop with 10/100M network adapter to do a whole disk backup..Before for 250GB of data took me 6 hours to finish..Now with the USB 3.0 Gigabit adapter plugged into the USB 3.0 port. 267GB took me only 36 minutes..Average 7.4GB/minute. 124MB/seconds.

Simple plug and play on a laptop with no ethernet port. No installation required. just plugged it onto the end of the ethernet cable coming from the wall then into the USB port of the laptop. Detected in seconds and that was it..Been using for a week or 2 now with no issues.

Bought this to add an ethernet port to my new laptop running Windows 10. most modern laptops don’t come with a ethernet port as standard. Plugged in to the USB port and it installed the drivers OK. Found there was no Internet access. this was caused by a invalid ip address setting. Running the built in windows detect and repair resolved the issue. Works great with very fast speeds.
