      Currently connected from MacBook Air to an external monitor and works well. Though not tested for 4K. The description says. it supports 4K transmission of video. Got it for around $10 and value for money.

      I got this to hook up an external HDMI monitor to our 2011 MacBook Air. It worked perfectly. I highly recommend … picture quality is awesome. No issues… plug and play! The price was right. too 🙂
