      Hooked up Surface Pro 4 to monitor. Picture is excellent and looks the same when I had it hooked up using the Mini-DP to DP cable to monitor. Goes through the Surface Dock btw. Only complaint (reason for 4 stars) is that I get audio crunch noises every 4 seconds and have to turn the speakers in monitor to 0 unless I need audio for what I’m doing.

      The adapter worked fine at first when I used it to add an second monitor to my Imac. After 2 months. however. I noticed that it failed to detect the connected monitor at startup.

      With a regular adapter I never have a problem translating the sound from my mac to the TV. With this product it takes several unplugging and plugging back in for there to be any sound at all
