I have a large screen and needed to be able to connect the hdmi lead into my personal laptop. When the personal laptop wasn’t in use I wanted to be able to connect my surface pro. This connector meant I can use one lead with hdmi both ends. plug one end into the screen and the other into my personal laptop. To use my surface pro I move the hdmi lead from personal laptop and plug into my connector which has the mini-display on the other end that goes into my work surface pro. This might be stating the obvious for IT users. but for others not familiar that’s how I’m able to use one large screen for either device. Please note as far as I know you can only have one device displayed in use on the screen at a time. Again this might sound obvious. J

I used the device as the adapter as I put an HDMI connection between a laptop and a smart tv. Zero problems. which should be the norm.

It works OK but it was with a simple package and the appearance of the plastic seems not very good with poor strength. Hope that I can use it for a long time.
