The first strainers I purchased were the screen type. They were hard to clean and didn’t last long. These strainer are stainless steel. very sturdy and easy to clean. Glad I purchased them.

This was exactly what I needed. It fit my sink perfectly. It is durable unlike the mesh strainer types that are out there. Only thing I noticed is that the rim is pretty sharp when I dump the strainer. It doesn’t have a rounded/smooth rim but more of a straight cut edged rim. It actually cut me once after having it for about 4 months. Just be careful when emptying it. Despite this. I would still order it again.
