Purchased these as a stop-gap measure until I went on to buy a port replicator/dock for my notebook. I needed to connect a couple of monitors for work purposes and this resolved my issue at low cost and using since yr plus and still working.

Good product. It’s weird that it need a microUSB to power it while other products don’t… Works good however for the price.

It works as the manufacturer described. However this unit always requires 5 volt power supply from USB In order to convert HDMI to VGA.
