      Bought mine about a year ago. Used infrequently but it works great every time. It’s about 9 inches long female VGA adapter on one end and male HDMI on the other. The back side of the VGA adapter has an 1/8″ audio/headphone jack and a female microUSB for 5v power. I’ve used it on my raspberry pi as well as a laptop. Haven’t noticed any visual issues. I need another one so I can stop moving between my two uses. 🙂

      I used this to hook my Xbox One up to an old tv. Works great picture is very clear and no artifacts on the screen.

      I specifically bought this to run my PS4 in another room and I’ve been seeing mixed reviews with people claiming that it did or didn’t work for the Playstation 4 and I’m here to claim that it DOES work for PS4.What you need to do is disable HDCP and HDR in your settings and make sure the unit is powered with a 5.0V plug. My monitor is from 2007 and able to display 720p properly. But you might want to adjust your display settings once connected. The only little thing was I had to fiddle with the USB cord on the unit’s end in order for the power to kick in and the monitor finally turned on and displayed the picture. THIS WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT POWER ONLY FOR PS4.Playstation 3 (however) works without the power plugged in.I do not have any XBox consoles to test it on.

      It functioned exactly as I needed it to. If you need an adapter to connect different inputs once in a while or short term like to a projector to watch a movie or a device to a monitor that only has a vga input this will work for you. Besides this intended use i also eventually used this to connect a monitor to my desktop as a permanent periferal. Over long term use the screen will occasionally turn black for a moment then go back to normal or have a few other minor issues. It still works fine but if you dont want that very minor annoyance and intend to have a long term connection you should switch to a dedicated cable.

      Allows me to plug a very old VGA monitor into my newer laptop that only has HDMI. Completely plug-and-play no drivers needed or issues to report. I haven’t had to try the audio jack on it as I can just plug speakers into my laptop if I need to but I guess it might be useful in some cases.
