      I’ve had this cable for a week. I used it to hook up a laptop to an older computer monitor that didn’t have an HDMI connection. So far the cable seems to work great. especially for the price. I would say this cable is a really good option if you are unsure which way the cable is supposed to go. seeing as it is bi-directional.

      I work from home and my company provided laptop only had a 14 inch screen. which was too small. I had been using VGA output on my PC but the new laptop had HDMI output. As my PC had a DVI output as well as VGA. I decided to employ an HDMI KMV switch so that I could share the keyboard and mouse as well as my monitor. The Rankie HDMI to DVI cable was just what I needed to make the video connection from the PC to the KVM switch. All I had to do was connect the cable and switch on and I got a perfect. flicker-free image. I cannot fault the cable at all.
