      With dual monitors and the Nvidia 900 Series Video card it”s works better to run twin HDMI cables that one HDMI and one DVI HDMI cable which is shorter in length. Rankie DVI to HDMI Adapter Gold-Plated Converter 2-Pack Black matches my case and my setup nice. I find the quality better now days. At $5.50 per converter it was worth buying the Prime that to look through my gear to finds a yellow one that I may or may not have anymore.

      I bought this to be used in a USB port replicator. Works like a champ no problem it is little bit bulky but it is understandable because the size of the DVI connector. My only complain si that the screws to secure the adapter is very hard to move so secure to the hub or monitor will be difficult.

      The goal was to easily connect and disconnect my display and or the back of my PC without having to tighten or un-tighten retaining screws on the DVI connector. The Rankie DVI to HDMI adapter did the trick. I like the quality of the hardware (gold plated contacts) and the performance (no loss in picture quality).
