      The quality of this cable is horrible. I plugged this into to my computer. Less than a year later (for the first time ever) I go to unplug it. and the whole head of the HDMI input comes completely right off making the cable utterly useless. I gentley removed the cable too. I’m always very gentle with my electronics and take very good care of all my cables. So the quality or quality control of this cable I recieved is terrible. It shouldn’t break the first time you unplug it. That is unacceptable and makes me wonder if a lot of these reviews are fake or if I just got a bad cable due to bad quality control. I feel like I wasted my money.

      Had a longer older cable that resulted in frequent blackouts of the monitor. This seems to have improved the signal reliability.

      I don’t know the truth specifications for this cable but it works well for my 1080p monitor which has an HDMI in. Please know that this cable is one way. It is from DisplayPort to HDMI. Not other way around.
