      Upgraded to a new machine and needed this cable as the motherboard has one DP and one HDMI (running two screens) and my monitors don’t have DisplayPort. First used a DP to DVI adapter but the screen color was washed out. Bought this cable and the colors went back to normal. Both screens now match. All good here.
