      I bought this thinking it was a standard USB but found out it was too large – fortunately. it was for my son and he has a gaming computer and it works perfectly.

      Inially the connection was sporadic. Had to wiggle the connections until it was consistently connected.

      HDMI might be ubiquitous on computers. but it wasn’t always that way. Adapters like this prolong the life of the computer and allow older computers to be connected to newer monitors. It’s extremely frustrating to have to hunt about for a VGA/DisplayPort/DVI etc. so having a USB to X connector makes this a lot easier. 1 cable to many adapters is the answer.
