      Product was exactly as advertised. My previous adapter did not carry the audio portion of the port. I plugged this adapter into the display port of my Dell docking station an HDMI cable into the end of the adapter and the HDMI cable into my TV. Started the laptop connected to the TV and the sound came through will no other changes to the laptop. Good price and arrived on time.
