      I had bought a OEM cable at Factory Direct as I initially had time constraints – that failed miserably as the danged thing wasn”t recognized by the teleworking device I was using (dual-monitor setup at home).       In the past I hadn”t had luck when buying a short adapter and then connecting a cable to the adapter (if I wiggled the adapter my screen would flicker or turn off) so instead I buy the full length cable with each end with the correct connector. That”s what this is a full length cable with DVI on one end and Display port on the other end. One solid long cable. I plugged it in and it works perfectly. Just fyi. I am using two 19 square monitors not wide screen with a laptop. So one monitor is using VGA to VGA on my laptop and my other monitor is using DVI on the monitor to display port on laptop. With my laptop screen opened I now have 3 screens.
