What can I say? I purchased this item based on customer reviews which I normally do as part of my research process when contemplating what to purchase. I had been using a dongle adapter made by company that has same name as an energy drink that I bought years ago but not only is that cable much to thick and stiff more bothersome the signal kept breaking up.

I had just purchased a reburbished computer with both vga & DVI ports. 1st DP cable I tried fit loosely and the monitor would go blank when the case was moved. Not having a second dp/DVi cable I was not sure if the fault was the cable or the port on the computer. I ordered this rankie dp/dvi cable with locking connector and it solved the problem. Returned the defective cable to . Easy and the rankie cable with the locking connector was 30%cheaper than the other defective cable. Cannot beat that outcome. Sure it cost a couple of days while parts went back and forth but I never had to leave my office to do it. Love shopping online.

My Rankie DP to DIV cables worked perfectly. I upgraded my GPU from a Gigabyte Geforce 1060 to a ZOTAC AMP EXTREME GEFORCE GTX1070ti. I use tree monitors (x2 with DVI connections and 1 with HDMI connection). I plugged the DVI ends to the DVI ports on the monitors and the DP end of the cables to the GPU’s DP ports (and of course I also connected my HDMI monitor). Everything worked perfectly on the first try. I would recommend to anyone.
