      Needed a cable to connect an extra old monitor to my new graphics card and this cable had good reviews and was a sufficient length for a decent price. The picture quality seems reliable and good. The cable only transmits from a displayport source to a DVI display which is worth checking.

      These were the cheapest Prime shippable DP to DVI cable I could find in the length that I needed. And they worked exactly as they should on the very first try and have kept working for several months now. Good stuff.

      at first no picture showed up. I thought I”d bought the wrong type of cord but then I tried a different display port slot on my graphics card and it was fine.Ever since then it”s worked great.

      Works as described. No problems with it so far. All I needed it for was to connect an old monitor (60Hz 5ms response time) that only has DVI-D and inferior ports to my GPU which only has DP ports available.Funny that I receive the email to review from right now since one of the other cables that I bought from a Canada Computers brick and mortar store a DP-DP just crapped out on me after about a few weeks… Maybe I should have bought all of my cables online? Lol :/

      Cheap! And they work extremely well. Downside is they seem to be so cheap they may not take much stress. The cables kink easy and feel like you”re going to rip them out where the shielding goes into the port. Feels like they”re missing a core or some type of support in the cable structure. If just installing stationary go for it. You won”t be disappointed but don”t use these for something mobile or that will be moved.
