Overall the product has been super great at doing its job. currently running in my home server and giving great overall performance compared to the built-in Realtek PCIe NIC. Helped improve ping between Alberta. Canada to France with my local Minecraft server as well as super stable and consistent local read and writes as a storage box..Pros:.- With macOS. hardware was plug and play in both Mojave(10.14) and Big Sur(11). – Based off the Realtek 8153 Chipset. generally seen as one of the more reliable USB NICs for macOS.- Super cheap($15 CAD at the time).- No configuration required. – If running at 100mbps. try swapping ethernet cables.- Maxes out my router and even ISP’s 1Gbps network. – Includes speed tests. local as well as even maxing out 1Gbps from Microsoft’s servers.Cons:.- Overall housing is very cheap. I would recommend this for users who plug it in once into a USB hub or back of a desktop. Laptop users frequently using this as a travel dongle are most likely to wear out device
