My Lenovo Ideacentre is excellent but has no socket for the Ethernet connection to my BT router. I have to rely on wireless connection. I fitted this connector in the few seconds it took to plug it in to the USB 2 socket. connected the Ethernet cable and switched on the PC. It just worked straight away – as expected.

Plugged in this bad boy into the USB port of my Dell Laptop and then plugged in the ethernet cable coming from my Asus router. Waited a few seconds and then received a download speed of just under 220 Mbps (paying Virgin Media for 200 Mbps). Works as intended.

Plug and play on windows 10… The USB end seems to be loose and at times as I hear the audible ding ding ding when I wiggle it…Internet speed increase over Dell laptop 10/100 internet limitation so now I get speed Im paying for. Crazy that laptop bought in 2017 had limitation of 10/100 ethernet port

Picked this because it specifically says it supports crossover detection which it indeed does.
