      Bought this to connect a Mac Mini to an old monitor with VGA only. Just plugged it in connected the monitor and it… works. No setup no power from USB required nothing but this small well made adaptor. Arrived next day as promised too.

      There is not a lot for me to say other that it works exactly as it should. There are no issues with picture quality and construction seems sound. I go through a lot of these type of adapters because of my job. This seems like it will hold up for awhile.

      Arrived the following day plugged it in and made my MacBook compatible with the Optoma projector. Achieving a perfect colour match (screen-projected image) seems all but impossible with the projector I”m using. Anyway I highly recommend this Rankie mini display port for the MacBook.

      Works well as a plug and play device. Design helps when placing multiple monitors into my laptop. Works pretty quick except when using a docking station where it may take a few minutes to take for some reason.
