      Only used it three times so far but have not had any issues. I like that it has screw holes to keep the connection secure as the last model I had did not have them.

      Just got this and unlike the HDMI to VGA cable for my monitor this worked with a resolution that my monitor could use for full screen. Nice.

      Not all VGA adapters handle all the VGA data signals. I run matching dual external monitors from my laptop when at my office desk. Further these monitors are hardware color calibrated to the same values for photography. The old laptop had a HDMI and VGA port. The new one has HDMI and mini-Display Port. I plugged in the adapter and the color calibration hardware/software fully recognized the VGA monitor and did its thing.
