Works flawlessly to connect an older laptop (ThinkPad) to an even older graphics monitor (Apple Studio Display ca. 2000) with no mini DP. Colour fidelity on the monitor remains as good as when used with the Mac.

Now that I’m WFH for the foreseeable future. I was hoping this adapter would connect my laptop (2015) to an old Apple Cinema Display to give me an extra desktop space/screen to ease eye strain and it did. This works with no problem. All I had was connect it to the monitor cable and plug it into my MacBook Air. My old DVI to USB adapter stopped working when I upgraded to Big Sur.
