      Initial impressions Wow! my previous plastic filter worn off and I wanted to a get a new one. So purchased this and so far (1 week) it is pretty good. It does not block the water from draining. It catches all the debris. A pack of 3 is very good. I used it in my sink and also for trash side. I have a spare one too 🙂

      I have used many different types of sink strainers over the years and these are the best I’ve ever had. They do a good job look good and are easy to remove and clean up well.

      I have stoppers. They work GREAT as a stopper but the catcher part was less than desired. I am without a garbage disposal for the first time in a long time and was so frustrated by having to clean out the drain all the time.I found these 3 pack catchers. Even though I only need 2 for my double sink I thought maybe just maybe one would work in my tub. (same issue good stopper terrible catcher) The reviews varied from ‘it works in a tub’ to ‘you need a smaller one for the tub’. I figured I had nothing to lose since I had an extra.First of all the strainer for the kitchen sink fits perfectly looks clean and neat and already catches way more than my stopper did. I can see it’ll be much easier to clean as well and it looks much more streamlined in my sinks. The others were always a bit lopsided when they weren’t set to the ‘stop’ position.So then I decided to try the bathtub drain. And no it did NOT fit inside my drain. HOWEVER I figured I’d try putting it upside down to see if that would work. It looked good not a tight fit but when I ran the tub the water didn’t move it out of place. How much hair will it catch and how will it hold up while I’m in the shower? I am not sure. For that reason I am not saying that I recommend it. But if you are ordering the 3 pack and only need 2 maybe you can try it as well. (see photos of sink and tub.)

      The strainer could be a little deeper and fit a bit tighter but it drains well and is easy to remove to empty it and clean
