I purchased this case to replace my original iPad case that was damaged by an accidental drop. Recently I inadvertently left my iPad on top of my car on a dark evening while loading other items into my car then drove away. Once I realized the iPad was missing. I immediately retraced my route and found my iPad in the middle of the street. The case protected my iPad with no damage to the iPad and very minimal damage to the case. a slight pavement indentation on one corner. I have no knowledge whether it was run over by passing vehicles between the time it landed and about 25 minutes later when I retrieved it from the street.

It is good to be able to buy a suitable case for an older iPad Pro. I had an ESR that lasted 3 years but could not locate one anymore. This one is just like it.
