    The first thing I noticed when this case arrived was it had puncture in the pleather. right at the front! I considered returning it. but I really needed a new case since my old case fell apart (after 8 years)! This case is a lot slimmer than the old case. It’s nice. light and easier to carry! The tri-fold design to hold the screen up isn’t the best. It tends to slip if you end up touching the screen a lot. I use this to help entertain my 2 year old with some ABC Mouse and he’s always getting frustrated because it collapses on him. It’s fine if you set it up and don’t touch it. But even when I’m gently tapping/scrolling on the screen while looking at recipe. it sometimes collapses on me too.

    This was the cheapest Smart Cover I saw on for the iPad Pro 12.9 1st generation that has a pencil holder. It works fine for basic everyday protection but it probably would not protect much with a serious drop on concrete or asphalt.
