Replacement for original Apple product that had no back protection. This cover has solid. plastic back cover that fits the iPad Mini 4 perfectly. The cover can be used as a stand when folded to give angular view of the screen – great for reading a book on an airplane tray! When the cover is closed. device goes to sleep and wakes right up when opened (just like the Apple one did). Adding the back cover allows for more protection than the original so I’m more comfortable tossing it into my purse/laptop bag/suitcase. Color is vivid blue – a little different than the image online that I thought was teal. but it’s just as acceptable. Shipping/packaging were great and it even arrived earlier than indicated when I placed the order! Will be buying another in a different color for my other device
