      I installed a Chinese Diesel Heater in my garage workshop and wanted to make sure there were no issues with the exhaust pipe getting too hot. The exhaust was well over 400 F so I wrapped it with fiberglass heat tape and it keeps the temp down to around 225 F. I also have been able to find air leaks all around the house.

      Nothing difficult about this at all. Easy to use. just plug in the battery and check your temps. Accurate when compared to an analog thermometer.

      The laser dot shows what you are measuring and the reading changes a lot as you move this from. say. a window to a wall..Used one to balance all the radiators in the house so they all had the same temperature in the middle of each radiator (within 2 degrees centigrade) which took about an hour but was actually quite good fun.

      I do not dislike the unit whatsoever it fits in to my cooking style. but this unit was delivered yesterday evening to 7 Tobin Street. not to my house . the kind gentleman delivered it to my house around noon.so please ensure your drivers read addresses correctly and not put the onus on wrongly delivered items.

      Having used similar at work I thought I would get one for home as my fridge/freezer wasn’t working correctly. This works perfectly and lets me keep an eye on the temp of everything in the fridge and freezer to make sure it’s all still edible
