      Easy to use. Using it to check the temperature of sourdough starter inside an Anova oven; provides a helpful check against the temperature displayed on the oven display panel. Would be nice to have a future version that can be rechargeable.

      I don’t think this is the most accurate. however it’s a really good indicator for pizza oven temperature. Great with ooni pizza ovens

      Great price point. good for reading temps on pans. pots. or other kitchen items. I use it a lot when I’m making tea. to ensure that my water isn’t too hot or cold for the type of tea I’m brewing. Super easy to use and see the temperatures. Seems accurate enough – I don’t do any deep frying so I can’t speak to the accuracy of fry oil temps. Is also a good thing to have when you’re wondering if a pot or pan is cool enough to touch. so there’s a safety component. I’ve burned my hands way too many times on my pressure cooker. trying to get the pot out for cleaning. only to find out it’s still crazy hot..Pro tip: if you have cats who like laser lights. they will come running when they hear the beep thinking it’s play time. Don’t aim this on the floor unless you want your cats slamming into you while you’re making dinner trying to get the dot!
