      I got this to determine if my heat press was too hot and sure enough this shows it is so I must adjust my temperature down in order to not scorch my signs aprons and other items I am using the heat press to create.

      I use it to check the water temperature in community pool and jacuzzi. Compared to medical use thermometer it registers within less than 1/2 a degree difference. Fun to use. The cat or dog might chase the red dot the marks the point of aim. Good price. has another winner. HR

      I”m sure there are professional versions that would give more accurate results on difficult surfaces etc. but at the price point it”s great for my needs such as identifying hot or cool spots on engines cooling system radiators etc. Very easy to use with the built-in laser pointer.

      Purchased this to use with the pizza oven – fantastic! Just point and pull the trigger and it gives an accurate reading resulting in perfect pizzas (aside from my poor dough making skills) other benefits are knowing the temperature of absolutely everything in the house – haha. Get one it works

      The thermometer seems to read accurately as far as my limited tests go so far. The handle is a bit plasticky and doesn”t feel like it”s securely clipped into position with the battery in its compartment but for the price point it”s a great bit of kit. The only real complaint I have is that the hold display of the temperature reading (when the trigger is released) disappears a bit quickly it would be nice if the time the reading is displayed was a bit longer.

      On comparing to a rod thermometer there is absolutely no difference besides the distance you can operate at and less hassle to clean. Plenty of adjustable features such as degrees Fahrenheit to Celsius and laser pointer
