   I have Intel NUC compute only has HDMI port. I need reduce Resolution to 1366×768 when I connect NUC to TV’s VGA port and Audio port. I choice to use this device. This device give me very good screen and audio. price is good and shopping is fast.

   First off. the adapter is of good quality. However. this is not the best type of adapter to use if you have a Mac. Macs have problems when using HDMI – VGA cables. The only way for them to work is if the adapter/cable is active (powered with electricity). Luckily. this cable has a mini-usb port which you can plug in. This is pretty inconvenient since if the cable moves and loses power. the screen will go out until power is restored. It also means one more cable. which can get messy.

    We bought this to connect Xbox one to plasma screen. At first we thought it might be faulty as the picture colour and position were wrong. After adjusting Xbox video settings and plasma screen settings. everything worked perfectly. Great product and great price!

    Looks like a quality product. a little concerned about the possible need of additional power requirement when connecting to a Dell 24″ monitor VGA port (via a second USB port on the other side of the box to the VGA port) but no problems on my laptop (Dell Latitude). Plug & play so works out of the box. no problems.

    This adapter works good. provides a good quality image. audio output and even supports a dedicated power supply if the HDMI power source from the computer is no sufficient to drive the VGA requirements of the monitor. All of this at an unbeatable price.
