      There are no instructions just a card with a web address (that was not helpful) and a 1-800 number. The is the adapter that is pictured in the add a short USB cable and a short audio cable. I plugged the adapter into the computer”s HDMI port plugged the USB cable into an open connector on the computer and the other end into the adapter. Then I plugged a male-to-male Super VGA cable into the adapter and an old monitor.It worked great the first time – no drivers to install It was automatically recognized by Windows and displayed the second windows screen.A few days after the purchase I received an email from the manufacturer following up on my purchase – unusual for a product with a price this low.

      In case you don”t want to read much further: the Rankie HDMI to VGA adapter works beautifully is great value for money and arrived quickly.I bought one because I have an old Lenovo laptop with an HDMI port and a redundant 24″ Xerox monitor with VGA. Now using VLC I have a great media player. It is all plug and play too. It honestly couldn”t be simpler. Also you get two leads (always useful): A mini jack to mini jack and a micro USB to USB.All in all its excellent!

      The adapter arrived quickly and worked as intended without problems. It allows me to use my new tablet computer with an older vga projector using the HDMI port on the tablet.
