I tried HDMI to VGA. both cable and adapter. USB-C to Display Port. and FINALLY. only HDMI to DVI works on my laptop+screen combo..I guess it comes from the fact that VGA is analog and DVI is digital. coming from HDMI (digital) it requires probably less transformation on the signal or whatever… it works. Thanks!
