      ive tried other cords but this one does exactly what i needed without the fuss…

      I had an older monitor with only DVI ports but my new computer only had HDMI ports. This cable worked beautifully. The OS can sense the monitor through it and provide vendor and resolution back to the computer as well as driving the display.
