      Adapted from an old machine to a new 4k monitor. Works fine. even at 4k (much to my surprise. the old video card supports this resolution). I did have to spring for a new HDMI cable to use the one. but that was expected. And I have a spare if I manage to break one somehow. Happy camper.

      New wonderful monitor. 27″. but my laptop only had VGA and DVI outputs. I couldnt set my resolution to what the monitor was capable of with only VGA. The text was HUGE. Whats the point of a big monitor if I cant take advantage of the max resolution? The monitor didnt have DVI. THis converter. which plugged into my laptops DVI port. then I plugged in an HDMI cable to connect to the HDMI port on the monitor. saved the day. Exactly what I wanted. Could take advantage of the full 1920 x 1080 resolution. Awesome!

      I originally bought this for an extra computer screen in work. but I didn’t realise it wasn’t what I needed. However. it worked fine with my computer at home and is easy to install. Would give it 5 stars overall if it was a bit more sleek in it’s design.

      I have a NUC that needed a monitor. I had a couple older monitors but none supported HDMI (which the NUC required). With the older monitors I already had I wasn’t going to invest in a new one just for the small computer so for a few bucks I ordered the adapter. The package actually came with two in it. I plugged the adapter into the DVI-input in the back of the monitor and then the HDMI from the NUC and it just worked. I am extremely happy with it.

      working as designed. Only caveat is the side screws are minuscule and a challenge for large hands.
