      Was happy to receive the product quickly but was worried it might not work or it might need extensive configuration. I plugged it in connected the second monitor and everything was working as I had hoped. My old USB to VGA adapter could not give the resolution I preferred but this product did… and it was a third of the price!

      I used to be like you – a bum with a graphics card that only had Display Port DVI and HDMI ports on it. I was going nowhere fast and was pretty much ready to end it all when I found the Rankie DisplayPort to VGA adapter and you know it gave me a reason to keep on getting up in the mornings.       The adapter worked great without any adjustments. We connected it between the monitor and the pc and that’s all we had to do. Originally we’d connected it between a smart tv and the pc and it didn’t worked immediately. I didn’t try to make any adjustments. We switched the smart tv out with the computer monitor (I didn’t want it unpack at the time) and it came up no problems. Hope this helps someone make a decision.

      My wife has an old drawing tablet/monitor combo that required a VGA input signal to work. We recently upgraded her graphics card and it no longer had the old VGA connectors so I wanted something that went directly from DisplayAdapter to VGA without all the other converters (I used to use a DisplayAdapter to DVI then DVI to VGA). It has been working like a charm so far.
