Great product worked right out of the box with my Nvidia QUADRO 600 Graphics card.

Needed a way to connect my older computer monitors to my new video card that does not have VGA connections. Decided to give the Rankie model a try and it worked very well. Connection to the VGA cord went easily with a sturdy connection block and screw mount. Sturdy display port plug in as well. I picked this item because it gave more flexibility for connection as it was not just a single hard connector that would stick out from my computer. With the two plugs connected by a (short) flexible cable it allows the flexibility to be unobtrusive and not place a strain on the motherboard connection.

It’s like getting your 1st remote control TV. It makes viewing multiple device so much more convenient. I only have 3 devices up to it. I have a security camera NVR a laptop PC and the TV control box from ATT on the input side and an HDTV on the output side for viewing. Sometimes while watching the TV it doesn’t want to switch to the PC but if I switch to the cameras 1st then back to the PC it works. Other than than that little quirk it works fine.

It all started when I came across a nice little monitor in my local thrift store. I hadn’t given much thought to the idea that having two monitors hooked up at my work station would be nice but here I was in the thrift store and they had a relatively new monitor sitting there with a $3.50 price tag on it. I figured for $3.50 and tax I’m joining the 2 monitor club! I got to my office with my cheap monitor in tow and to my surprise I found that I needed this little DP to VGA adapter to hook things up. I pulled up and here it is. Inexpensive and perfectly suited to the task. I’m less than eleven dollars invested and enjoying the dual monitor life. No problems with the product so far.

Used the converter for an old monitor with a VGA cable to hook up to a new Chrome box and this worked well with no issues.

It worked as advertised.
Jaqoun Jones aka Snatch –
Works as expected. I am able to plug my VGA monitor in to a display port connection

Works fine. You have to press a button on the side of the display port to remove it. Makes it difficult to use in a tight space (like if adjacent ports are occupied) if you want to remove it periodically (like to make it portable).

Another one of those devices or adapters that you don’t have and didn’t know you needed it until you had to have it. A quick fix adapter that may be a one-time need or use or an item to keep handy in the computer hardware goody bag. For the next time. Plug it in hook it up and turn the monitor and compiter on. Rock and roll on!
