      These are great if you have a VGA monitor you don’t want to give up yet. I built a new computer and of course the new graphics cards have no VGA support. I had a beautiful primary monitor and a decent second monitor that I still wanted to use. This does the job perfectly and on the cheap. I noticed zero picture degradation between this and plugging it into a computer with native VGA support. Installation was Plug and Play even for displaying the BIOS.

      I am daisy chaining displayport monitors for extended display. one of my displays was vga only this adapter was inexpensive and worked with minimal effort for my display needs. The adapter worked right out of the box.
