      It works. Really nothing more than you”d want from a cable. Plug in and picture shows up.I hooked up an older plasma tv with a VGA out to an geforce rtx 2070 display port. The port did have trouble picking up the tv”s native resolutions. This was solved by adding a custom resolution with the nvidea control panel and selecting it in windows normally.

      I needed this adapter to connect my new PC to my older VGA monitor. The connection was very easy to set up and all is working fine. I will probably upgrade the monitor at some point but in the meantime this adapter will enable me to both work and watch movies on my old monitor.
