      It is an inexpensive solution to convert the DP signal from my Radeon RX580 video card to VGA for my old analog legacy monitor from Dell. However it does not produce a perfect image. There exists video noise in the form of horizontal lines all up and down the screen. It is like watching a waterfall as the lines scroll down the screen. That said they are small enough it is not too noticeable or distracting for regular PC use but my eyesight is so good I can make it out and be temporarily distracted from time to time. If you have even slightly sub par eyesight you probably won’t notice it much if at all but if you are like me and have near perfect sight you may be a tad annoyed by the noise. Otherwise it works just as expected. Plugs and plays easily enough and certainly doesn’t break the bank for a low cost conversion solution to give new life to that older monitor. If you want a noise free experience though maybe look for an active vs. this passive converter instead.

      It may not be as sturdy as the other DisplayPort to VGA adapter I purchased on but this one is almost half the price so it suites me just fine.

      I was a little unsure which offer to respond to when choosing an adapter to set up 2 monitors to run from my new PC but the cables I ordered arrived extremely quickly very well-packaged and are functioning perfectly. As the price was very fair I can think of nothing not-to-like about this deal so am happy to recommend this company in general and these items specifically to others considering a good value purchase.
