      I was upgrading to a bigger and better gaming screen for my HP 8440P laptop and had done some research on the internet and came across this cable. I had no idea my laptop even had this video port and I wanted to connect it to my tv which has an HDMI port. To my surprise the cable fit great and works perfect with my TV now. Gaming and graphics along with sound has greatly improved. I would definitely recommend.

      I am glad that it worked as expected connecting my old desktop that has DP port only to a new monitor that has HDMI port only. The DP is ++ compliant so it supports the converter without additional issue. The male HDMI end is a little on the short side. When it plugs into the monitor it is a bit loose sometimes. Not sure if related sometimes the picture is out of sync especially at the boot up. After the picture stabilizes it stays that way so it”s okay. For the cost it does a sufficiently good job.

      This little cable works exactly as described. I was looking for a displayport cable that would work with the USB C hub that I have my monitors hooked up to. The monitor turned right on using this cable plugged into the dock. I am very happy with results!
