      After getting a wide screen monitor I realized my laptop only had DisplayPort outputs and the monitor only had HDMI inputs. Something I probably should have checked before hand but didn”t. Anyway scoured through and my local electronics store to find a solution. The local store had plenty but were in the $30 to $40 range. Meanwhile had many at or under $20. I researched to find the highest rated with good reviews and this one stuck out and rightfully so. It just works. No issues just plug in and plug to the monitor. The laptop immediately sensed the monitor and set up the correct drivers and resolution. Only tweaking I did was on the refresh rate but I do that almost all the time. Don”t overspend for no reason this is the one to get.

      I like it. I bought 3 more. But i feel like i have to be extra careful to handle it with care. It doesnt feel like the most durable cable. Works well. I use it between my gpu and capture card

      This is used to connect an older laptop with a displayport to a tv. It works as expected. The 4K capability was not tested.
