      Display Port to HDMI. Commercial computers still use a “display port” for 1080p video and sound. Not HDMI in shape. Looks like it. but it is a different connector type that click-locks into the PC when installed correctly. Designed to stay connected in connector. Cable was fitted to an HDMI port connector for a new video monitor with HDMI only.

      I much prefer this cable to a regular hdmi as it can go into my graphics card and lock into place. ive not noticed any difference in performance but its good quality and works perfectly as expected.

      I use this to connect my Xbox One to my computer monitor. I can’t speak for the 4k quality. as my Xbox is the original. day-one model that maxes out at 1080p. but the cable carries the signal and audio just fine.

      I was trying to use 2 monitors that were HDMI but only had 1 HDMI output on my graphics card. I did have 1 DV output as well. This cord made is easy to use both monitors separately.
