I replaced my PC’s video card and want to keep a dual screen. It is hard to find one within my budget. I saw a DP port and didn’t know what that was. So I researched it. it stands for Display port. Then I searched for the cable. Found this one. it has great reviews. Add mine to the list of positive reviews. The screen looks better than the DVI connector did. Can’t be happier with my purchase.

When I moved from a 2K display (via DVI-D) to a 4K display (via HDMI 2.0) on an older system. I needed a DisplayPort to HDMI cable/adapter. The system has a NVIDIA GTX 760 card. which is supposed to support 4K resolutions. With this cable. I can get 3840×2160 4:4:4 (RGB) at 30Hz maximum. At 60Hz. it drops to 4:2:2. which is not as good for text.

Not much to say here. I plugged the DisplayPort end into the video card and the HDMI end into the monitor. The monitor works well and the cable does what I need it to do. The quality seems very good. the packaging made it feel like a superior product. No complaints here. would recommend!
