I purchased a used HP Thin Client T 730 off a popular auction site but I had not realized the machine came with Displayport only. That was a bummer because the purpose of the machine is to utilize it as a VM and as a Pi-Hole Server. So setting it up was an obstacle without a monitor with DP connections. Once set up. I could just putty into it..I found this device on and it solved the problem perfectly without having to commit to an expensive adapter. Worked quite well for my needs and at least at 1080p. I had a solid clear image. I did not take it beyond FHD. but I can say it does work well for 1080p.

The adapter works well. I only wish i would have known before buying that my particular computer won’t do audio over display port. Will be keeping the adapter anyways i’m sure it will be useful for a future project.

The adapter is very good for its price and it connects in approximately 2 seconds when I plug in the HDMI which is very good.
