   I wanted something simple and sleek. This fits my needs very well. Is it perfect? No. but it works for what I need. Would have preferred the back to be hard plastic rather than the fake leather (stickers. I know 1st world problem) for ease of cleaning. When holding one handed the cover. depending on hand placement. can dig into fingers. so the cover/flap edges could be a little smoother. Other than that. this is a very good. simple cover that will protect a Fire HD8 from small falls and will (with the lid closed) protect the screen from scratches (nice!). I like the wake-up feature.
