   Getting this case onto my Kindle was easier than getting the old one off. I’ve dropped it since putting on the new case – maybe once or twice. The old case was dropped many times over the years. The new case protected my Kindle just fine! I’ll keep using it until something wears out. I may be that something — but I hope my Kindle. its case & I have a good few years yet.

   I purchased this to replace an older case that wore out..PROS:.- Nice looking case and nice magnetic closure. which is convenient.- Clear access to button. camera lens and charging port.- More compact than my old case. but appears to be sturdy.CONS:.- No strap to help hold the case in my hand while using my other hand on the screen. This would be handy. since I have arthritis – but this is the only case I could find..Otherwise. a very good case for my old Kindle Fire.
