      Although it would not allow me to transfer data from old laptop to new laptop. that is not a fault of the USB to USB cable; it is a fault of the complicated nonsense that computer engineers dream up to make life more difficult..The cable itself was durable. sturdy. really good. practical length and was well packaged and delivered on time..I shall put this cable in the box where I already store 6.2 miles of other cables that I never use.

      The only uses I needed for this particular USB type-A cable was in hopes to be used with the ‘MOSWAG USB C OTG Adapter USB Type C Splitter with USB C Female and USB A Female’. Granted I placed all my faith into the MOSWAG adapter and the Rankie Type-A cable is working as intended. although I wouldn’t mind seeing this in a braided nylon of some sort for better flexibility. I also feel it could’ve been packaged a little tighter to use less plastic.

      With USB cables it seems you can either have slender and pretty. that last about 2 weeks. or cables like this. which should last forever. You could possibly tow a car with this one. but it’s working well for disk cloning.

      I don’t know whether it satisfied a 3.0+ speed as it didn’t work on my computer (Imac). It has been returned. That being said. it was well built and fits the 1.0 USB female input well.
