Overall am pleased with this was a decent price at the time and handy to have a spare. Was particularly taken by the first description on it: ‘Meets/exceeds Apple’s standards’ however not sure this is entirely true as have found it to have a couple of minor annoyances:1. They’ve put the logo on both top and bottom sides of the connectors meaning its unclear which way you’re attempting to insert it until it doesn’t fit. I could see some people trying to force it harder and break it before thinking to turn it over – but if they had the logo on just one side would be so much easier. This obviously wouldn’t matter for the newer ‘lightning’ versions that fit either way but does on these older 30-pin types.2. On first entry (after figuring out which side was top) it didn’t feel like it fitted exactly almost like there was a soft seal around it that needed breaking first or a side pin needed pushing in. Only on first entry but am aware the real Apple cables don’t do this.3. Once it is in and connected up the bottom side looks like its not in properly and shows more of the metal connector than the plastic casing – see front and back pictures showing an example of this. Whilst the originals do this too if you really do want to ‘exceed the standards’ would perhaps be an idea to angle the plastic cover to fill this gap.I’ve not had them long enough to be sure about the durability but looks fine after daily use for one month.But as said overall happy and would by again as these points are small enough to deal with

This is a good value for money sync/charger cable that seems to be well made. The only criticism I have is that both sides of the 30 pin plug and the USB plug have the same logo on them which means you cannot easily visualise which way around they need to be connected which leads to attempts to plug it in the wrong way. Given that the 30-pin plug has a tight fit you need to carefully look to see whether you have the correct orientation!
