      I got these shears 1.5 years ago and have used them weekly on my indoor and balcony plants. The handles are comfortable and the safety mechanism is easy to use. It is not heavy. There are no signs of rust. I keep my stored indoors. It’s a great. simple design..These are great for pruning plant stems up to a few mm thick. The thick/wide blades easily slice through stems on strawberries. caladium. woody fuchsia stems and mums. These are not as good for pruning very delicate plants in small spaces. such as maidenhair ferns which have many 1 mm stems in a small area. For that I would recommend pruners with symmetric and thinner blades.
